Hofstra Club Basketball: Hofstra Club Basketball loses first game of the season in Island Garden opener

Hofstra Club Basketball is a competitive traveling team entering its third year of operation. The team faces other universities within reasonable distances and competes in tournaments during the academic year. This team is the only option for non-varsity athletes to play legitimate 5-on-5 full-court basketball. There is no intramural league on campus.

Hofstra Club Basketball loses first game of the season in Island Garden opener

Last night at Island Garden, Hofstra Club Basketball lost to "Rakeman", 72-40, in the opening game of their Fall 2010 AAU Adult Competitive League schedule. They will return to action on Saturday, October 9th at Sacred Heart for a double-header that will also feature Adelphi.
